Pay now opens a card payment in their own browser. The money goes to your Stripe account, the invoice settles itself, and the receipt sends itself — none of it comes back to you as a job to do.

Paid into the bank? Record it in a tap.

Not everything arrives by card. A transfer or a handful of cash gets marked off against the invoice — part payments included — so what's outstanding is never a guess.

Automatic payment receipts

Record the money and the receipt goes out on its own — no queue to remember, nothing to open on a laptop. The online invoice updates in the same moment, so the balance they see is the balance you're owed.

What's owed, and what's late

Unpaid invoices grouped by how late they are, and the customer each one is sitting with.

Three ways the money lands, one place it's recorded

A customer can pay the invoice online by card, hand you a card on the doorstep, or send a bank transfer. All three end up in the same place: a payment allocated against that invoice, with the balance recalculated and the status moved on. Card payments record themselves through Stripe's webhook — nobody has to remember to mark them off. A transfer or a handful of cash is the one case you enter by hand, and it takes a tap.

Because every route writes the same ledger row, what's outstanding on a job is never a matter of opinion. The invoice list, the job's money tab and the customer's own online copy all read from it.

The money goes to your Stripe account, not ours

Payments run as direct charges on your own connected Stripe account. Your customer's money settles with you, on your own payout schedule, and refunds you issue from your Stripe dashboard flow back into Jobivo automatically and put the invoice back to what's owing. Jobivo never holds your takings and never sits between you and your bank.

You connect Stripe once in settings. Jobivo's charge is a flat 99p per paid invoice — no commission and no monthly payment fee — and Stripe bills its own card processing rates separately.

Take the card on site without a card reader

Tap to Pay turns the phone already in your pocket into the card machine. The customer holds their card, phone or watch to the back of it and the payment is taken against the invoice in front of you — no reader to buy, charge, pair or lose, and nothing to reconcile afterwards.

It is the same payment as the online one, so the invoice settles the same way and the receipt sends itself the same way. The difference is only where you are standing.

Deposits, stage payments and part-paid invoices

Trade work rarely gets paid in one go. Record a payment for any amount and the invoice moves to Part paid, keeping the balance still owing on it. The customer's online copy updates in the same moment, so the figure they see when they open the link is today's balance rather than the one from the day you sent it — and they can settle the remainder by card from that same page.

Receipts and reminders you don't have to send

Every payment queues its own receipt — card, bank transfer, cash or cheque — showing the amount received, the invoice it belongs to and what is left to pay. Part payments get the same treatment, so a customer paying in stages always has a paper trail without you writing one.

Unpaid invoices are grouped by how late they are, alongside the customer each one is sitting with, so chasing is a short list rather than a search.
