Privacy Policy

Last updated: 1 June 2026

Introduction

Jobivo ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. Jobivo operates Jobivo, a field-service job-management application for contractors, available on the web, iOS, and Android. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use Jobivo.

Information You Provide

  • Account information: your name, work email address, password, company name, and job title when you create an account
  • Company & customer records: the customers, sites, addresses, and contact details you add to your workspace
  • Job & workflow data: jobs, templates, steps, notes, references, and any custom fields you create
  • Photo evidence: photos you capture against job steps, including any captions or notes
  • Team information: the name, email, and role of team members you invite to your workspace

Information Collected Automatically

  • Location data: with your permission, GPS coordinates and a timestamp attached to photos you capture, so evidence can be verified
  • Usage data: app interaction data, feature usage, and performance metrics
  • Device information: device type, operating-system version, and unique device identifiers

Information from Device Permissions

  • Camera: used to capture job-step photo evidence (only when you use this feature)
  • Photo library: used to attach existing images to a job or your profile
  • Location services: used to GPS-tag captured photos and job sites

How We Use Your Information

  • Provide and maintain the Jobivo job-management service
  • Sync your data across devices via secure cloud storage
  • Store and organize job-step photo evidence
  • Enable team collaboration — assignments, invites, and shared job records
  • Send invites, job updates, and important notifications
  • Improve app functionality and the user experience

Data Storage and Security

  • Cloud storage: your data is securely stored using Supabase (a PostgreSQL database and object storage)
  • Local storage: data is also cached locally on your device so the app works offline; it syncs when a connection returns
  • Encryption: all data transmissions are encrypted using industry-standard protocols
  • Authentication: secure authentication is handled through Supabase Auth

Third-Party Services

  • Supabase: for authentication, database storage, file storage, and data synchronisation
  • Firebase: for distributing the app to invited testers and for push notifications
  • Vercel: for hosting the Jobivo web application

Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information. We may share information:

  • Within your company workspace — team members can see the jobs, customers, and photos shared with them
  • With your consent
  • To comply with legal obligations
  • To protect our rights and prevent fraud
  • With service providers who assist in operating the app, under strict confidentiality

Your Data Rights

  • Access your personal data
  • Correct inaccurate data
  • Delete your account and associated data
  • Export your job and customer data
  • Opt out of optional features such as location services
  • Manage who has access to your company workspace

Children's Privacy

Jobivo is a business tool intended for contractors and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under the age of 16.

Data Retention

  • Active account data is retained for as long as your account is active
  • Deleted accounts have their data removed within 30 days
  • Some anonymised statistical data may be retained for product improvement
