Software for Q-Mark fire door installers.
Run every door as a staged job sheet, capture the evidence your certification scheme requires as you fit it, and issue a QR-linked compliance record the building owner can open for years.
From installation to issued record.
A typical fire door installation project in Jobivo — from setting up the doors to the issued compliance report. Click the steps to follow it through.
One project. Every door.
The managing agent calls about a block of flat-entrance doors — log the enquiry, book the survey and count the openings. The project holds the whole installation, ready to plan door by door.
Explore projects →One job for every door.
Set up the plan — a job for each door, created from the built-in Fire Door Installation template. Use it as it comes, customise it, or build your own template to match how you work. Every door carries its reference, location and fire rating from day one.
Explore job templates →The whole job on one calendar.
Drop the work onto the week floor by floor and assign the team. Everyone's notified, the days land in their own calendars, and the agent knows which levels you're on.
Explore the schedule →Every door follows the job spec.
On site, each door runs its job sheet — your steps, in order, with the photo evidence captured through the mobile app as the work happens. The built-in angles are named to BS 8214 convention, a step won't complete without its photos, and it all works offline.
Explore job sheets →Evidence an auditor can trace.
Every photo is timestamped, GPS-tagged and filed against its door and stage — take as many shots per angle as the detail needs. Alongside the photos sits the conformity checklist: gaps, seals, fixings and hardware checked against BS 8214, pass, fail or measured.
Explore photo evidence →One record the whole building can rely on.
Generate the installation record for the project — every door with its reference, fire rating, plugs, documentation, conformity checklist and staged photos. Your approved person signs it off, the client gets a permanent link and PDF, and a QR code on each door opens its record on the spot.
Explore projects →Fire door work, run the efficient way.
No more photos emailed in bulk or dropped into a WhatsApp group for the office to sort and match to jobs. Every photo is captured against its door and step on site, so 42 doors come back as 42 organised evidence sets — automatically.
Everything the Q-Mark scheme's Record of Installation Activities asks for — plugs, labels, supporting documentation, staged photos, approved-person sign-off — collected automatically into the right place as the work happens. Fully electronic, end to end: nothing on paper, nothing re-typed at the office.
Each record lives at a permanent link with a QR code for the door itself — the digital, retrievable evidence the Building Safety Act's golden thread expects.
Your books keep themselves.
Connect Xero or QuickBooks once and the paperwork side of every job takes care of itself — no exports, no re-typing, no month-end catch-up.
The moment a Jobivo invoice is created it appears in your accounts package — right customer, right lines, right VAT.
Card payments, Tap to Pay and manual receipts are matched against the invoice in Xero or QuickBooks as they land — refunds included.
Built around the BM TRADA Q-Mark fire door installation scheme
Companies certified under the BM TRADA Q-Mark Fire Door Installation Scheme (STD 052) must complete a Record of Installation Activities for the doors they fit — per-door proof that each installation followed the tested detail, signed by a named approved person under the company's certificate number. Jobivo's fire door compliance pack captures every field that record requires: register and project references, certified company and certificate number, approved person, per-door references and locations, declared fire resistance (FD30/FD60), manufacturer and installer plugs and labels, the fire door and fire-stopping documentation used, staged photographic evidence, comments and the signed declaration.
Jobivo issues this as a clean, professional installation record built to meet the scheme's requirements — carrying your company's certificate number and your named approved person, ready for audit. Jobivo makes the evidence effortless to capture and impossible to lose. Beyond the scheme's minimum, each record also carries door type, leaf configuration, smoke control, manufacturer, doorset and leaf IDs, the fire test evidence reference and a full BS 8214 conformity checklist.
The regulations behind every record
Fire door work sits under a stack of law and standards, and a Jobivo record is built to evidence it. The Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005, as amended by the Fire Safety Act 2021, makes a Responsible Person accountable for fire doors in non-domestic premises and the common parts of blocks of flats. The Fire Safety (England) Regulations 2022 — regulation 10 — require quarterly checks of communal fire doors and annual checks of flat-entrance doors in residential buildings over 11 metres, with records kept. The Building Safety Act 2022 adds the golden thread: for higher-risk buildings, a maintained digital record of who did what, with evidence.
On the installation itself, BS 8214:2026 is the code of practice for timber fire doorsets — perimeter gaps and tolerances, intumescent and smoke seals, fixings and hardware — and Jobivo's conformity checklist mirrors it check for check. The door's fire resistance rests on test evidence to BS EN 1634-1 or BS 476-22, and Approved Document B determines where fire doors are required and to what rating. Every issued record snapshots the regulations it evidences, so the document still reads correctly years later, even after the standards move on.
From job sheet to compliance record
Each door runs the built-in Fire Door Installation template: photographs prior to installation, during and post installation, then the installation details — certification label and plugs, intumescent and smoke seals, hinges and fixings, closer, lock and latch, fire-stopping and signage. Angles are named to BS 8214 convention, required angles won't complete without a photo, and the apps work offline in stair cores and risers with no signal. When the block is done, one action turns the project into the installation record — permanent link with a QR code for each door, plus a PDF with photo thumbnails and a regulations appendix for the client's fire safety file.
