Oil heating (OFTEC)

OFTEC oil heating certificates, digital

Installation, commissioning, servicing, warning notices and tank risk assessments — issued and sealed online.

The OFTEC record set for oil-fired heating, built to the current forms: completion, commissioning, landlord/service and the tank risk assessment. Your OFTEC registration and technician number print on every certificate as text — no pads to re-order.

Issued digitally, every time

A verify link on every certificate

Each record has its own public web page and QR code — anyone can scan it and confirm it's genuine, any time.

Tamper-proof digital seal

Every issued PDF is cryptographically sealed, so a downloaded copy can be proven unaltered years later.

Always online, never lost

The permalink stays live for the life of the record — no filing, no re-issuing a mislaid copy.

Auto-attach to invoices

The certificate rides the job's invoice email automatically, so the customer gets the bill and the proof together.

Sign on web or the mobile app

Capture the engineer's and customer's signatures on site on a phone, or on the desktop — offline works too.

No pads or books to buy

It's all digital. Print a copy when you need one, but there's no stationery to re-order — ever.

The right categories and the right maths

The Warning / Advice Notice uses OFTEC's PR and IR risk categories — not the gas categories some software wrongly reuses — and it's handed over with the recipient's acknowledgement, never auto-issued. On the tank risk assessment, the 'secondary containment required' and 'fire protection required' outcomes are worked out from your answers rather than pre-set.

Registration prints, no pads needed

Your company OFTEC registration and the technician's registration number are stored once and print on every certificate on your own letterhead. Complete the job and valid records issue on their own, each with a verify link and a sealed PDF.
